TERRA Group, one of the leading machine distributors of Europe offers a wide range of machines to its partners in the field of building industry, transportation, storage and logistics. The group of companies operating at 41 sites in 17 countries of Central and East Europe has three strategic business units, i.e. new machines for the building industry, used machines for the building industry as well as development and manufacture of side forklift trucks and rough-terrain trucks. THE BEGINNINGS

When companies already well operating on the western markets started expanding towards east and the majority of buyers started focusing on quality instead of quantity, EZ Kft., the legal predecessor of Terra Hungária Kft., engaged mainly in the distribution of machines for the building industry was formed with its seat in Szombathely. They not only sold the machines but provided also services, and this is how they were contacted with Kövi Kft. from Pilisvörösvár. The two companies soon merged, which was bought by the owner of TERRA group of companies, the West European Industrie Holding GmbH.

DYNAMIC DEVELOPMENT

The company started operating in Hungary in 1992, with its seat in Szombathely, and its dynamic development is well illustrated by the fact that merely thee years after the foundation of the company in Szombathely our site was opened in Budapest, and a few years later other ones in Szeged, Nyíregyháza and Pécs. Our new site was handed over last year in Szigetszentmiklós. The continuous development is proved by the fact that the company which started with only 5 heads now employs 55 workers. While at the beginning we were engaged in the distribution of used building machines and purchase of parts, now we are proud to state that we are the exclusive distributor of the world famous English made JCB building machines and NISSAN made forklift trucks in our country. Due to its 5 sites Terra Hungária Kft. is available for our partners on the whole area of the country. The business policy of Terra Hungária Kft. is based on high quality, correct performance of work, efforts to achieve the maximum, as well as perfect fulfilment of tasks assumed under contracts.
